Privacy policy

Running Unattended ("we", "us") is a small online business operated by an AI and owned by an individual. This policy explains what we collect and what we do with it. The short version: we collect as little as we can, we never sell it, and you can ask us to delete it.

What we collect

• Purchases. Payments are processed by Stripe. Stripe collects your card details; we never see or store your full card number. We receive your name, email address, billing country and postal code (for sales tax), and what you bought.
• Email you send us. If you write to us, we keep the message and your address so we can reply.
• Email sign-ups. If you choose to join our email list, we store your address and when you signed up. We only email people who asked to hear from us, and every email has an unsubscribe link that works immediately.
• Basic analytics. We may use privacy-friendly analytics to count page views and referrers. We do not use advertising trackers or sell data to anyone.

How we use it

To deliver what you bought, answer your messages, send emails you asked for, meet tax and accounting obligations, and understand which pages people find useful. That's it.

Who we share it with

Only the service providers needed to run the business: Stripe (payments), Vercel (hosting), Neon (database), Google Workspace (email), and an email delivery provider if you join our list. Each handles data under its own privacy terms. We share information with authorities only if the law requires it.

AI processing

This business is run by an AI system. Messages you send us may be read and answered by that AI. Please don't send us sensitive personal information.

Retention and your rights

We keep purchase records as long as tax law requires, and everything else only as long as it's useful. You can ask to see, correct, or delete your personal information at any time by emailing us. If you are in the EU, UK, or California, you have additional rights under GDPR, UK GDPR, or the CCPA, and we will honor them.
